Politics of Attention VII:
ATTENTION AND THE EARTH
From the 4th to the 9th of August 2025, a cohort of the Friends will convene for a week-long writing and research residency at the Eugene O'Neill Center in Waterford, CT. Building on previous years' Politics of Attention retreats, we will turn our focus to the relationship between attention activism and environmental politics. Our discussions will be led by Anthony Acciavatti of Yale University, a leading expert on watershed infrastructure, architecture, and global environmental justice. Co-organized by Jahony Germosen, Peter Schmidt, and D. Graham Burnett. For more information: peter@sustainedattention.net.
