Politics of Attention VI:

Attention and the Law

From the 5th to the 10th of August 2024, a cohort of the Friends convened for a week-long writing and research residency at the Eugene O'Neill Center in Waterford, CT. Building on previous years' Politics of Attention retreats, we turned our focus to the realm of human attention, public policy, and the law. Guiding this effort was lawyer and policy expert Mihir Kshirsagar, a key figure in ongoing legal disputes around Big Tech and the politics of human attention. Co-organized by Alyssa Loh, Peter Schmidt, and D. Graham Burnett. For more information: peter@sustainedattention.net.
