The Politics of Attention V:
Activism, Sanctuary, Practice
From the 5th to the 12th of August 2023, a number of collaborators associated with the Friends will gather for a week-long writing residency and experimental workshop at the Eugene O'Neill Center in Waterford, CT. Building on the last year of Attention Lab programming, we will be focused on the codifying and extending our curricular materials and refining a “toolkit” of attentional practices (suitable for use in our school, community, and outreach projects). We hope to draft a new “Statement on Attention Activism” and continue revisions on our jointly-authored "Handbook for the Attention Liberation Movement (ALMS)" Co-organized by Raiane Cantisano, Peter Schmidt, and D. Graham Burnett. For more attention: firstname.lastname@example.org.
