Plans for a Politics of Attention

The Plans for a Politics of Attention working group was born from the observation that the concept of attention is totally absent from current political discourse, even though it is an indisputable tool for thinking about today's society. To make up for this absence, our group is focusing on the possibilities that can emerge from thinking about attention politically. More concretely, our efforts are focused in two places: first, activities and attentional workshops that can engage the citizenry by connecting them with other citizens and the public realm in general -- and secondly, we are working to develop what could be principles for a policy of attention.
